There is a high correlation between the increased cases of diabetes and obesity with increased carbohydrate and decreased fat intake. We consistently encourage our patients and clients to follow a whole foods based eating plan that includes healthy fats with all meals. Healthy fats keep us satisfied longer, help us avoid mid-meal snacking, and can improve hormonal balance.
